Free from agonising back pain March 29, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
After many tests, painful physio, and painkillers that didn't work my Doctor was advising tests for secondary bone cancer. After following the instructions in this book, the excruciating pain in my spine, which had increased to the point where I was housebound and miserable, vanished in minutes! My Doctor concurred that given my circumstances it was conceivable that the pain had psychological origins and admitted that the tests for bone cancer she was advising were a 'shot in the dark' given that all else had failed to pinpoint a cause. As I continue the mental exercises the muscle pain is diminishing daily and I can contemplate a return to work soon. The Doctor is following my case with interest, I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
FORGET RSI READ THIS! March 15, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have suffered from what i thought was RSI for over three years to the point i was about to quit my job, the pain radiated from the tips of my fingers to my neck. I've had X Rays anti-inflammatories Acupuncture physio therapy deep tissue massage all to no avail. That is till I came across Dr Sarno's little paper miracle! Buy it read it never look back.
A great help July 13, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I was suffering from RSI, not sure if its the book or the remedial massage therapy I'm having is what helped (or both), but my rsi is a lot better and improving every day.
Its a very compelling argument and conventional medicine doesn't have all the answers. My doctor told me to take pain killers - very helpful. NOT.
As far as I was concerned it hit the nail on the head.
worked for me May 22, 2006 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Reading it thoroughly twice and implementing the recommendations in this book, has helped me address some debilitating RSI related pains which I'd been carrying for more than 6 years.
Different strokes for different folks and all that, but for me this book was a winner after spending years and countless trying to treat my symptoms
It works! May 19, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Anyone mocking this book has not read it enough times or simply not understood the concepts being delivered!.. it makes so much sense and it really, really works. Before using this book i had RSI to the point where i couldnt type, chronic pain left over from whiplash in my shoulder and chronic jaw pain. I'd had physio on my RSI and whiplash but to no real success, and hospital treatment for my jaw to no real success. After 3 weeks of reading this book (over and over again) i was COMPLETELY FREE of any pain. I really couldnt believe it!!..
The fact modern medicine does not accept these pages as truth is an absolute disgrace - millions upon millions of pounds spent on healthcare which is entirely unnecessary.
If you are in pain, and are a sarno type (perfectionist or goodist), you need to read this book!!..
