 Great Goon selection, but with misleading cover. August 29, 2005

It was seriously disappointing to discover that the song "Ying Tong Iddle-i-po", despite being prominent on the CD cover, is NOT in this collection! The four shows in this double CD set are great fun, but I selected it because of that song title on the cover. How can a producer allow this to happen? So, five stars for the Goons themselves, minus two for the production blunder.
 The book/cd was of excellent quality..... October 20, 2000

The CD reviewed here was of an excellent calibre, bringing to life again the Tom-Goonery of years gone by in a four part gag-fest for the ages. The charachters brought to life in these shows are masterfully created by those sons of fun Sellers, Secombe and Milligna, the well known typing error. The charachters and scripts engendered by Spike create a masterfully visionary setting, taking the mind on an eyes closed seat of the pants journey through Goonland. I rate 4 stars only because I am sure the goons will top this in future releases.
