Lots of fun for tiny ones who are learning to count October 6, 2003
This big chunky book provides lots of fun for toddlers who are learning to count. Brightly coloured collage style pictures on every page keeps the childrens attention. On each page there are an increasing number of holes (1-10) where you can fit buttons that are attached to the book with ribbons. The text is rhyming but if the child is trying to attach every single button on each page you might miss out a bit on the text bit because it takes quite a while to fit the buttons, especially when you come to the higher numbers. You will probably not read this book from cover to cover that often. It is more likely that the child will browse and just have fun with it. Until all the buttons get tangled up and mum and dad need to lend a helping hand... My 20 months old daughter loves the book and wants to play with it all the time.

This book offer lots of fun for tiny ones who are learning to count. Ten buttons are attached to the book and slots in to holes on each page. Colourful collage style images and just a few words on each page appeals to toddlers eyes. This is not really a book you read from cover to cover - at least my 20 months old daughter prefers to just play with it... Mummy and daddy gets a bit of extra work though, when all the ribbons with buttons attached to them get all tangeled up...
