5 out of 5 stars This is an extrememly quick read.   December 26, 1999
Growing up in North West Canada in the 70's, I finished this most exciting book in about five hours. Probably written for young men, this book is a joy to all readers but especially outdoorsmen and hunters. Archeologists too? Yes archeologists too!

This book was excellent. I really enjoyed it. It was excellent. If you read it you would like it very much. Do not hesitate on buying this book about two boys who's canoe crashed and were lost in the Barrenlands. Twenty thumbs up to Farley Mowat.

5 out of 5 stars Good book of survival   November 12, 1998
I really like when Jamie and Awasin have to live off what they kill and they have to build a house. I don't like when they crash into the rock in the rapids that makes me think that they will die. I also like when they meet the two dogs Farley Mowat is the best author that i know i also have The Curse Of The Viking Grave he writes good books

4 out of 5 stars Good Book!!!   February 28, 1998
