Customer Reviews:
A must-buy book for naturalists visiting Shetland July 26, 2001 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
An excellent successor to Berry and Johnson's Natural History of Shetland. Beautifully illustrated by john Busby, and with many excellent photographs, maps and tables, this fine book covers the natural, human and geological history of this wonderful island group. Appendices provide detailed lists of all of the species so far recorded in the archipelago. Fully referenced, this book would make an ideal addition to the bookshelf of anybody interested in the Northern Isles.
