If you get a chance this one is to be shared with children June 11, 2003 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was looking for a book that i thought i could read to my class of 10 year olds who are getting too old now for fairy tales. Then I found this book which is full of annotated versions of such stories like Rumplestilskin, the frog prince and the boy who cried wolf. However, these stories have a twist to them and they are not like the stories you heard as a youngster. My class found this collection of stories very amusing and they made me read the whole book to them.
Fairy tales through Wolfie's eyes March 31, 2002 I bought this audiobook because of its interesting title & to keep my 6 year old entertained during car trips. It is now a firm family favourite. The stories of 'Cry wolf', 'Little Red Riding Hood' & our favourite 'The three little pigs' ,to name a few, are given a fresh perspective throught the eyes of the much maligned Big Bad Wolf. He tells the tales as they 'really' happened. Tony Robinson (Baldric in Blackadder) brings the stories alive & with much humour. If you enjoy a good laugh & have a slightly twisted sense of humour, then you will enjoy this collection of stories.
A really enjoyable Audio Book January 5, 2001 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
"There is a Wolf in my Pudding" is a funny book anyway, but it is even better as an Audio Book. That is partly due to the way in which Tony Robinson reads it out. I can't really describe it, so I recommend that you listen to it. Even my mother, who usually doesn't like Audio Books, seemed to enjoy this one. If you would like to hear different versions of the likes of "Red Riding Hood" you will definitely love this.
