This book is the modern version of 'Solid State Design for the Radio Amateur'. It presents radio design, circuits and theory in a clear way. Mathematics are used only where it is unavoidable. Many of the circuits were built, tested and measured by the authors. It is a little treasure trove.
The book covers amplifiers, mixers, frequency synthesis, receivers, transmitters, measurement equipment and even some digital signal processing.
No homebrewing radio amateur should be without it.
