Beautiful book, excellent for conversation or browsing January 26, 1999

My mother-in-law is attending a Wildlife class taken at a local college and this is one of the textbooks. At the college bookstore she paid $30.00, which she thought was reasonable. After browsing through the book and reading a few random articles, we were amazed at the quality of the pictures, the variety of the information, the superb way it is written, and the great price. It is published by Reader's Digest which is somewhat of a surprise. Typically they do not publish books with photos that are to this high of a standard. My ecstatic compliments are directed to Reader's Digest, the photographers and the writers. Many friends and family members ask about where to buy the book but the college bookstore has been sold out for weeks. In my search I am thoroughly pleased to find it on Amazon.com and at an even more astounding price. This is a definite must have book for anyone with an interest in nature, children that need info for reports, or anyone needing another great coffee table book.
