I have been a great fan of Tony Buzan for many years. His techniques really do work and I urge you to buy this product and persevere with them. I use them all the time and they are easy to understand and apply in everyday life. Don't kid yourself, though, you have to work at the method and you can persuade yourself that you are really using mind maps properly when in reality you're not. The proof will be in how the power of your mind is able to be revealed to you and you feel suddenly empowered.

Not bad really, alot of it is plainly obvious however many of his study ideas really help me particularly his ideas on good book study habits.
I found the mind maps to be very helpful and the memory game shocked me I can still remeber a list of 10 consecutive random items and I only spent 5 minutes memorizing them, shocking for me as I have an apalling memory.
If your unsure about study its worth the cost.

I was introduced to this book by a very forward thinking college tutor back in 1981/2. I was astonished by some of the ideas in it, which seemed quite radical back then. As a computer scientist, I came to see some significant logic in many of the processes and theories, especially when studying artificial intelligence and neural networks - getting computers to emulate the human mind.
I now teach, and would recommend this book to serious students of any subject at GCSE, A-Level candidates and above, with the same enthusiasm with which it was recommended to me almost 25 years ago.
Buzan is spot-on. This book can make a huge difference to students' success rates.

This is a really great book to help you unlock your potential and use your brain more effectively. It shows you various techniques to read faster, have improved memory and order your thoughts, as well as other ideas and concepts. You can go on to read the other books in the series if so inspired, but you have all you need in this one book to make an effective start. A great book, if you take the time to apply and practise the techniques.

In "Use Your Head", Tony Buzan does well to bring out the importance of the brain and the power of the mind, often left unaddressed.
The book does well to bring out in clear terms how to:
1.Read and learn effectively
2.Take notes
3.Develop good study habits
4.Develop memory powerThese are topical areas of interest to any student who desires to excel. I never thought there was more to the use of my mind till I read "Use Your Head". I hope to improve upon the use of my head from the use of the techniques in the book. Great job, Tony.
