This book is proof that you can create a beautiful, shapely crocheted garment. There is a good collection of patterns from basic and functional to technical and arty. The instructions are very easy to follow and the essays are interesting. This book also has useful tips for learning new techniques and improving your skills.

This book is great. I only just bought it so can't comment on how easy the patterns are, but having looked through them they look reasonable for someone who has done crochet before, and are rated according to difficulty.
Particularly nice are the patterns for a crochet dress, and a fabulous circle pattern rug. All the patterns are fashionable and interesting.
