2 out of 5 stars Not up the usual standard   December 18, 2003

If you are planning a trip to Canadian cities then this guide probably provides the information you require. If, on the other hand, you are visiting for the real draw of Canada, the magnificent scenery and outdoor sports opportunities then it is sadly lacking. There is virtually no coverage of the country, other than a few paying attractions. LPs occasionally slip into writing guidebooks by phoneing a lot of people and not actually visiting, that seems to be the case for most of Alberta and British Columbia.
As a devotee of LP I found this very disapointing, I would have gleened as much information from a good road atlas!

The only book you'll ever need, with information on Ski resorts in BC to Niagra Falls, it's all in here and more....
