This book has a really good selection of flower projects, not only individual flowers but also larger project such as a bag, hat and scarfs. It also contains a really quite unique pattern for a calla lily bridal bouquet.
The book is divided into sections for;
Layered petal flowers
One-piece flowers
twisted technique flowers
felted flowers
chain stitch & ball flowers & leaves
Each pattern also has the line stitch drawings to describe the pattern, I find these very helpful when it is difficult to visualise the pattern from the text alone.
The book also contains many beaded projects, however only those that are named as "beaded" actually contain the express instructions on how many beads to use and when enter them into the work ... many of the other projects use pre-beaded yarns such as Artyarns or Tilli Tomas which don't appear to be available readily in the UK (hence the 4 rather than 5 stars)- however the projects look like they would be achievable using standard yarn and adding your own beads.
