Like all DK books, this is well presented with stunning pictures. Theres not so much text involves, its more pictures with small informative comments attached at the sides. What makes this book different however is that its very personal. Instead of just giving the facts you've already read in other books, the author gives a more personal description of his particular encounter with the animals and how they personally reacted to him and the way he felt being face to face with such creatures. This is nice and makes you wish you were there experiencing it yourself.

What a great book. The photos are fantastic and makes you feel like you are there. I love this book. Would make a great Christmas gift.

This is the ultimate book to have if you love marine life. Stunning photographs. The DVD with the book is even better (if that is possible!) I was so glad the DVD had no narrative, although I would have liked a caption at the bottom of each picture saying what species of fish etc. was present. I am thinking of getting more books as gifts as I want everyone to appreciate the beauty underwater.
