An excellent little book.Not only is this informative, well-written and handy, but the beautiful illustrations bring it to life and are worth having alone. I, at the moment, own few books with David Daly's artistry, but the few I have I value and this is certainly one of them.
The layout is simple and covers enough species to get the beginner going with really superb illustrations throughout.
Being compact and easy to use makes it very good for children. It really is more of an amateur’s book and ideal for beginners but never the less a delightful book to have in any collection (along with the rest of the series of course).
