Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars An important account for those who know little about wolves   April 22, 2003

Wolves at Our Door, by Jim and Jamie Dutcher, is a masterfully written memoir of the couple that spent six years observing some of the most intimate details in the life of a wolf. It also sheds some light a particular political activist group known as W.E.R.C. The book holds the reader's interest until the very last page, with beautiful pictures of the Sawtooth Wolf Pack, on which their account is based. Wolves at Our Door also reveals the controversial issue of wolf reintroduction into the United States. Many people that do not know much about wolves often fear them and hate them. I strongly recommend this book to anyone that hates wolves or does not know much about them.
