Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great Book for Toddlers to know about wild cats   June 11, 2002

This book contains three different stories to explain how leopards got the spots. One of them is about a leopardess would like to win in a beauty contest. She therefore tried to paint sports on her body to make her special. This book arises the curiosity of toddlers why animals have different patterns on their bodies. My 2.5 years old would ask me, " Mom, do you know why zebras got stripes? May be because...." He then thought about many reasons.
It is really a good book to arouse children's creative thinking.
