Good review book before Intro Biology August 14, 2007

This is a good book to help prepare for a biology course in college, especially if you are not strong in math, or have a poor background in science. It begins by covering some advice on how you should be studying, reading, and preparing for tests... in general when you are in college, as well as ideas specific to biology. It then covers some VERY basic math skills, the metric system, etc. Then it covers some chemistry... bonding, etc which is helpful too. Has a list of common suffixes and prefixes so you can learn meanings of words. Includes chapter on general high school biology information, as well as a rather thorough chapter on cell biology. Very useful to have over the summer before a biology class! Very easy to read and not boring!
