Product Description A black cat finally finds a home in this sweet flap book about the rewards of persistence.
THE BLACK CAT is sad because she doesn’t have a home. She tries the birds’ wire, the bats’ belfry, even the foxes’ hole, but none of these hangouts is right for a cat. Will the cat ever find a place of her own?

Reading Room March 14, 2007 Our 18 month old granddaughter has dubbed this as her favorite bathroom reading. The family has 3 black cats, and this book became an instant favorite.
nice story, lame lift flaps February 18, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a short story about a cat who has trouble finding a home, but finds a loving one where she is needed in the end. The illustrations are clean, simple, and colorful. As far as lift flap books go, this one was disappointing because it didn't have them on every page.
