Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Co-developed by Benjamin/Cummings Publishing and adam.com(R), the Interactive Physiology series software significantly enriches the teaching environment by providing visual understanding of complex topics. For use as both a presentation and teaching tool in the classroom, as well as a study tool for students, these CD-ROMs feature four color animations, sound, video, and extensive interactive quizzes that thoroughly explain difficult physiology concepts, many of which occur at the cellular and molecular level. The Cardiovascular System dynamically presents topics which relate to heart and blood vessel physiology.

5 out of 5 stars Save Time & Effort by Having a Look at CD   October 15, 2001

A wonderful CD! It has helped so much in the Cardiovascular part of my physiology course and saved my time and effort. After taking the whole trip in the CD, I find my self turning the pages very fast and with less need to concentrate in the characteristics and the sequence of events discussed.I think that is because the cardiovascular physiology textbooks tend to describe wordily the whole picture of an event and try to coordinate these events and their characteristics with each other in relation to time and that takes hips of pages (meaning more time to read, concentrate and imagine).Nevertheless,as the proverb says a picture worth thousands of words, it also applies here but in this way : An animation worth shelves of physiology books. The animation and the interactive pictures in the CD will give an idea about the event, its characteristics and the sequence in a minute-look. Furthermore, with the aid of a good physiology textbook the life will be made very easy in your physiology course .However,do not expect from the CD more than the basic concepts of the cardiovascular physiology, it is not a textbook but a review that will help very much and I recommend it strongly for you (Med-Students,nurses,carious people).
