This IS what a procrasinator needs! July 16, 2008 I've read a few reviews here that claim that Brian Tracy's "Eat That Frog" is useless and devoid of content. Well, I couldn't disagree more! I would like to meet Mr. Tracy and shake his hand; for his book has turned my life around! Recently, I have indeed actually doubled my income and I've learned to speak Lithuanian, which has been a goal of mine for 7 years. He does not go into lengthy discourses into the psychology of procrastination because that is exactly what a procrastinator does NOT need. As a hard-core procrastinator (it almost landed me in jail...yes...I was that bad) it was refreshing to hear someone say, "Hey! Just get on with it! You CAN do it!" Give this book an honest shot. Just start eating your frogs, one at a time, beginning with the biggest and ugliest one and I can tell you from experience that you will gain a great feeling of well-being and self confidence. And, most of all, you'll forget what being a procrastinator is like. Think about it too much, and you'll fall into the negative spiral that we all know too well. But, take action and you'll move into a new stage of life...the one you've been waiting for (the wait is over!...why were you waiting anyway?)

Good quick read!
In essence, this is yet another book to stop procastinating and start doing.
I like the style in which it is narrated, interesting. There is nothing very new I found that I did not find in other similar books. What I however liked is the tittle and relating some content to the title.
A quick read. Borrow this book if you can. I would not recommend a buy!
Succinct, informative, and highly recommended! May 28, 2008 I picked up "Eat that Frog!" on a whim, thinking it would be a fair addition to my motivational book library. I was surprised to find that, although a quick and easy-to-digest read, it contained more information and direction than many other books on the same topic. I found myself taking a few notes and instantly incorporating the practices it outlines into my daily routine, upping my effectiveness and giving me a much needed push! If you're in need of some anti-procrastination direction, "Eat that Frog!" is the first (and maybe only) place to begin!
Useless for real procrastinators May 22, 2008 At the start of this book Tracy says that he will not go into the psychological or emotional aspects of procrastination, yet that is exactly what procrastinators need. If you don't know why you do things, how can you change? I know all about goal setting, prioritizing tasks, doing the most difficult task first -- that's not the problem. I know what to do, but still can't get over the mental block. This book says, Just Do It, and you'll feel better, and want to do more! This is useless advice. If I could just do it, I wouldn't need a book.
Unless you're completely in the dark about goal setting and time management, avoid this book.
Get over procrastination now! Phenomenal book! April 27, 2008 Brian Tracy is an exceptional author. After reading Eat That Frog, I became so motivated, I finished an important project that I had procrastinated on for over 10 years! I finished and published Lose the Lies Lose the Weight! Brian Tracy's book Eat That Frog is an easy read, while being extremely motivating. If you have a lazy and/or procrastinating streak, read this book!
