Classic July 17, 2008 My nephew loves this book, reading it to him 10 times was not near enough, he never gets tired of it, oh its so nice to have a nephew at this age, how cute they are at 4. They are no longer "free" years old.
An old favorite December 16, 2007 This book was one I remembered my gradeschool teacher reading, so I bought it for my kids. They enjoyed it, but I think it makes a much larger impact when read in a school, to a class of kids. My 4 year old hasn't quite figured it out yet... but my kindergartener did. Solve the mystery and enjoy :)
I am going to be Miss Viola Swamp September 22, 2007 I told my second graders that if they don't start behaving that Miss Viola Swamp will be their teacher. They don't know who she is, so I am buying them the book to read ASAP. Hopefully, this will work! Thanks!
Miss Nelson Is Missing! Book & Cassette. September 10, 2007 My daughter loved this book with cassette. It was part of her summer reading and she has read it again and again.
Juneau 2nd grader March 23, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you like mysteries you might like the book "Miss Nelson is Missing", by James Marshall. Miss Nelson has a hard time teaching her students. Her students misbehave. When she comes back after being absent they are nice to her because Miss Swamp, the substitute, had been mean to them. Miss Swamp made them do all the work. Do you know who Miss Swamp really is? The kids in room 207 think she's a witch. Can you solve this story?
