4 out of 5 stars Great introduction for kids   October 25, 2000

If you are familiar with the Rookie Read-About Series you will (or your child) will enjoy this book. While not dismissing the fear kids have of sharks, this book opens a new understanding of what sharks are.

There are plenty of pictures for you little ones to look at and enjoy. Mr Fowler has done a nice job with this subject. Your kids will enjoy the book because it allows them to enter a mysterious world that seems dangerous.
