5 out of 5 stars Review of "Whispers From The Heart" by Tal Shai   November 10, 2007
'Whispers from the Heart' contains all the ingredients of a genuine love story - of family, self and spirit! It is a testimonial to the sacred bonds that continue to live within our heart and the knowing that love is never lost. It is about a journey of surrendering to a higher plan and purpose, allowing it to knead even the 'darkest night of the soul' into a consistency that is softer, kinder and wiser! Laurie's journey is a courageous testimonial to the possibility of opening our hearts to the entire spectrum of our human experience and choosing to stand in the light of our own compassion. A truly touching and inspirational read!

4 out of 5 stars A Transformative Journey   October 21, 2007
The author shares her deeply personal experience, facing the
challenges of surgery, along with her extraordinary resonance
with whales and dolphins.

This book is an honoring to Sacred, challenging and unique bond of
mother- daughter dynamics as well.

Laurie's humor shines through. Great gift for anyone working with similar challenges.

5 out of 5 stars Touching, Inspirational and Moving   October 4, 2007
Laurie offers a touching story of inspiration and understanding of the transition of life from what we expect to what is a sometimes a painful, yet optimistic view of the challenges we all face in life, and how we might create a positive outcome. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to believe in possibilities!

4 out of 5 stars I Love this Book   October 3, 2007
I read it in one evening, and then the next day I read it again. The style of writing is like a fugue, as the threads of Seligman's story weave around and through. The book itself is like the support of her family, a healing message. Though we each may have our own difficulties and our own paths to wellness, the sharing of such a personal journey is certainly a boon.
