Editorial Reviews:
Product Description In 1707, young Sarah Noble and her father traveled through the wilderness to build a new home for their family. "Keep up your courage, Sarah Noble," her mother had said, but Sarah found that it was not always easy to feel brave inside. The dark woods were full of animals and Indians, too, and Sarah was only eight! The true story of Sarah's journey is inspiring. And as she cares for her father and befriends her Indian neighbors, she learns that to be afraid and to be brave is the greatest courage of all.

Madelynn's Review March 15, 2008 We read The Courage of Sarah Noble in my reading class. I liked this book. I liked how it is a true story. I liked Sarah. She was smart, kind and nice.
Sarah went on a journey with her father to the woods. They made a house there and met the Indians. Sarah was brave. She stayed by herself in the woods. It was then that Sarah read to the Indians. The best part of the book was when she got to see her mother & family again.
I would recommend this book to my friends. It is really good.
