The Bible Atlas from Tyndale Kids and DK takes children ages 8 and up on a fascinating journey through the Old and New Testaments. This atlas is packed with valuable historical background and insights into the lands and people of the Bible. Bible stories, people, and places come alive through extraordinarily detailed pictorial maps and color photographs. An illustrated A-Z index of Bible places is also included. This unique Bible Atlas is a must-have addition to your family reference library.

5 out of 5 stars Great Bible resource for kids and adults, too!   August 14, 2005

I bought this resource specifically for my children. However, as I read the Bible myself, I find myself going to get the Bible Atlas to help myself visualize the items/maps I want to know more about and better understand. My mom (my girls' grandmother who's 72) was visiting recently and I showed it to her. She was so impressed that she told me she wants one too. It's a great way to put pieces of the Bible together that I've not been able to do before (because I had a difficult time visualizing it without the pictures). It has really made my study of the Bible more enjoyable. The illustrations are very well done. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to understand the Bible more fully. It has been a blessing to us.
