From the supplier: Observations of the Black-throated blue warbler's gynandromorphic characteristics included male first-basic plumage on the left side, while the right side showed combination of elements present for both male and female plumages. Such mosaic combinations may have been caused by bipaternity and tissue integration from supernumerary sperm into an embryo, which gives the bird's plumage an asymmetrical pattern.
