From the supplier: Kazin's widow gave away one of his ties on the night of his death. The selection of ties included some that were old and of other periods of style. The woolen, narrow and square-bottomed tie may have been worn during a lunch with Edmund Wilson or during the Eichmann trail. There were ties that may have attended parties with Saul Bellow or Mary McCarthy. One may have been worn while Kazin wrote "On Native "Grounds."
