Absolutely wonderful! A must-have for long road trips October 10, 2008
My wife and I found this set while browsing a rummage sale this past spring. At first, I was disappointed when I realized I bought a radio drama rather than an unabridged reading. When we popped in the first CD, I was still unsure, but I was soon drawn in by the excellent character acting and voice work. Our children were enthralled as well. These have been our companion on every long road trip this year. We just came back from a weekend away are are just about at the end of The Final Battle. I'll listen to these again and again.
An unexpected treat was the introduction that accompanies each story, which provided some interesting insights into Lewis' life and its influence on the stories.
There are simply a treasure that you will enjoy hearing time and again.
