Used to teach english to Ukrainian kids January 7, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I never actually used it, but my girlfriend had to take it on a mission trip and use it to teach Ukrainian kids how to pronounce english letters and some words. Looked like a good book for teaching some basic phonics.
cute baby Hawaiian book! February 5, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this as a gift for a young relative. The photos are very cute of Hawaiian culture with phrases and definitions.
'A' is for Aloha December 5, 1999 24 out of 29 found this review helpful
This is a unique book with interesting black and white photos of mostly Hawaiian objects. Cute kids and nice photography. Although I thought of better suggestions for a couple letters, I still love the book. I picked up two for gifts while on Kauai, and plan to order more. This is a neat way to expose children to other cultures that are actually a part of our country!
