A moving story that will inspire and offer hope January 22, 1999 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is all about courage and fortitude, about overcoming difficult, even overwhelming circumstances to become physically and mentally well again. Children will find in this book not only a great story about a beloved animal, but the message that it's never too late to try; that even when things look bleak, you should never give up. These are exactly the sorts of messages our children need.
All thumbs up! No one could have done this better. January 5, 1999 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this book! No one could have done a better job at telling Keiko's story than Diane--she's been with him every step of his journey. Every kid in America--and beyond--knows about Keiko, and will find inspiration in his moving life story.
