 Dr Seuss must be turning in his grave! October 25, 2007
If you have ever read the original "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" you, too, will be appalled by this story. First, the Whos are drawn to look more like Alfred E Newman than the Whos Dr. Seuss drew. Second, in the original story, the most important thing about Christmas was NOT "shop til you drop" as the children are taught in school. I started to read this to my daughter and was so distraught I refused to finish it. I asked her, "Do you remember the story 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'? Is this what the Whos were like in that story?" Thankfully, she was as upset and confused as I was. Bonnie Worth and Ray Goudey should be ashamed of themselves.
