A great book for one-year olds! October 20, 2006
We bought this book when my son was 14 months old - he was getting tired of board books, and he wanted bigger books and books with things to do. Now we read this book at least twice a day - he loves lifting the flaps to see what is hiding, and now at 17 mo he is also pointing out the ladybugs and frogs and whatever animal catches his eye for that reading. He tends to prefer brightly colored books - honestly this is the only "softly colored" book that he has ever enjoyed. It's a huge hit in our household, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an upgrade to a plain board book.
Daughter loves Pekk and Find Adventures January 30, 2006
I recommend Billy Bunny, Olivia Owl, Bobby Bear, and Oscar Otter. Not only does my daughter love them, but I do too. The only con with these books is that she won't sit still for any other books now. Every night I have to read a Maurice Pledger Peek and Find. The pictures are fun and lively, and the characters are great.
