250 copies of this book have been specially bound by Custom Bookbinders (quarter bound in leather) and include photogravure portraits of Robert Duvall as Augustus McGrae & Tommy Lee Jones as Woodrow F. Call. The photogravure plates were prepared and printed by Byron Brauchli on Hahnemuhle paper in Jalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. Of the edition, 200 copies are offered for sale, 24 copies are reserved for friends of the University of Texas Press, and 26 lettered copies are reserved for the author. Each numbered print is signed by the photographer, Bill Wittliff. The limited edition is encased in a slipcase of forest green book cloth.
