Product Description Though traditionalists might prefer fixed focal optics, the Nikon Eagle View Zoom binocular offers you the ability to zoom from 8-times to 24-times magnification. Perfectly sized for theater and stadium use, the zoom feature helps you get amazingly close to the subjects your viewing. It really is a cool feature! Zooming up and back is easy and fun. Sharp multicoated optics offer superb contrast and vivid color that, along with BaK4 high-index prisms, provide ultra clear and strain-free viewing. Eye Relief - 13-8.9mm Angle of View - 4.6 degrees at 8X Magnification / Apparent Angle of View - 37.1 degrees at 8X magnification Field of View at 1000mm - 80 degrees at 8X magnification (about 240 feet) Minimum Focus Distance - 13.2' Unit Dimensions (LxW) - 4.6 x 4.3 / Weight - 12.3 ounce Nikon USA 25-Year Limited Warranty

Very pleased! October 6, 2008 Bought these for my husband for our anniversary, he is hard to please, very picky, but he was impressed with this purchase. He enjoyed using them at the football game. I like the compact size and the light weight.
Very good product, but not for me September 30, 2008 I purchased these glasses as a possible replacement for a larger pair of Nikon glasses because i hoped they would provide the same view in a smaller, more compact package. Unfortunately, I enjoyed the glasses but not enough improvement to supplant the older larger model. In short, the smaller package didn't provide enough improvement to make the change.
Eagleview 8-24x25 Prism Binoculars by Nikon September 21, 2008 Nice Compact size, focus nob is toward front which results in using middle or ring finger for focusing and index finger for zooming. Takes some getting used to. Eyeglass wearers may find it difficult to use, i.e., finding a good spot where both left & right images come completely together. Image becomes darker as zoom in. Not suitable for use in low light conditions (dawn or dusk) at middle to full zoom. I predominantly use them to spot arrows when shooting target archery. It's light weight, size and limited view field are ideally suited for this purpose.

I purchased this for my husband for his birthday. I saw all the great reviews and thought this was the one for him! There are two things that bother us. #1 - the zoom button got stuck in the 24 position. Neither one of us could get this moved to another spot. Finally my husband used a quarter to move the button. It was the second time he used it! We are not sure how to fix this if this happens again. Secondly, the strap is missing one piece of small plastic and it means we can not use it. This is very disappointing also. Everything should come ready to use and be able to use it well. Not sure I would do this again.
I highly recommend these binoculars! May 2, 2008 These binoculars are excellent! They are small, light weight, have an amazing zoom control, and they are very affordable. I use my binoculars to view birds and the ever changing nature scenes outside my home. I highly recommend these binoculars. They were by far the best of the many I tried in the store.
