I like the story line April 22, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I liked the story line, it was a really nice read. I would like to know what the outcome was on the female subjects research, it didn't finish that side of the story, which was the whole reason she was there.
The Haunting of Josie March 28, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I enjoyed this book, it is a paranormal romance and is a light read compared to the Bishop series she does.

I couldn't believe how boring this was. I love Kay Hooper so I'll just chalk this one up as a bad read.
Not what the title implies March 11, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
A warning to anyone who enjoys Hooper's suspense/paranormal novels: This is not one of them. The title is very misleading.
It's a romance and not a very interesting one. The sad thing is that the story of Josie being haunted and the mystery of the house and the cat could have been very interesting if Hooper had made it the main plot, but she didn't.
I was annoyed with the predictable romance between the main characters because (1)it was boring and (2) it got in the way of a potentially much more interesting plot.
If you like reading romance for the sake of light love scenes and don't mind the lack of substance, you may like this one.
A Shorter, older version, but good. March 10, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a shorter, less scary version of her later books but the romance is there. It's well written and is a good introduction to her style for those who haven't read her yet. I'm so glad that her earlier books are be republished. Think this one almost has me current.
I'm still catching up with Ms. Hoopers older books - started reading her books with "The Wizard of Seattle" and have loved them all ever since.
