It's Not Rocket Science August 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I couldn't think of a more apt title for this book. We all know that procrastination is what holds us back from being successful. Sadly it's often the hardest most disagreeable tasks that get the best results. This book is not reinventing the wheel but a quick read that teaches you simple principles that make all the difference. The main idea being if you tackle your worst job first the rest of the day should be relatively painless.
Sure the print is large and the book is thin but how much do you need to read to realize you've got to get out there and do your work? It's common sense.
I liked the book it was just what I needed when my motivation was flagging. I figure the cost is worth what you get back and it wouldn't hurt anyone to read it once a year to stay on track. I actually also have the audio book and it fills a long drive nicely.
To the Point - The Way I Like It! August 14, 2008 This book is not in-depth and does not waste time on figuring out all the psychological reasons why people don't get done what they want to get done...and that's what's so great about it! I read a little bit of this book everyday and it motivated me to stop wasting my time so much. If you want some quick tips and simple methods to help manage your time then this is the right book for you!
Eat That Frog August 2, 2008 I purchased, I read, I studied, I applied the information. Therefore, I did as directed, I did Eat that Frog! In fact I have ate several frogs now - and I ate the ugly one first. This book is an easy read, and is applicable in my life at work, home, school, business, church, etc, Eat That Frog is just a way of saying - Get'er done! Reasonable price, quick shipment, and I continue to be satisfied with every purchase made through Amazon.com
This IS what a procrasinator needs! July 16, 2008 I've read a few reviews here that claim that Brian Tracy's "Eat That Frog" is useless and devoid of content. Well, I couldn't disagree more! I would like to meet Mr. Tracy and shake his hand; for his book has turned my life around! Recently, I have indeed actually doubled my income and I've learned to speak Lithuanian, which has been a goal of mine for 7 years. He does not go into lengthy discourses into the psychology of procrastination because that is exactly what a procrastinator does NOT need. As a hard-core procrastinator (it almost landed me in jail...yes...I was that bad) it was refreshing to hear someone say, "Hey! Just get on with it! You CAN do it!" Give this book an honest shot. Just start eating your frogs, one at a time, beginning with the biggest and ugliest one and I can tell you from experience that you will gain a great feeling of well-being and self confidence. And, most of all, you'll forget what being a procrastinator is like. Think about it too much, and you'll fall into the negative spiral that we all know too well. But, take action and you'll move into a new stage of life...the one you've been waiting for (the wait is over!...why were you waiting anyway?)

Good quick read!
In essence, this is yet another book to stop procastinating and start doing.
I like the style in which it is narrated, interesting. There is nothing very new I found that I did not find in other similar books. What I however liked is the tittle and relating some content to the title.
A quick read. Borrow this book if you can. I would not recommend a buy!
