This book contains some of Adam's best photographs taken in America's national parks, as well as photos of Ansel himself. There is also an article "Ansel Adams, the role of the artist in the environmental Movement" by Robert Turnage, and an essay "the Wilderness Vision: the wilderness society and the PUblic lands", and an introduction by John Szarkowski, director of photographic department of the Museum of Modern Art, NYC. Black & White photos.
