This book gives great insight into the working of the brain. It is well worth reading whether or not you have had a stroke. It is a fascinating read and I highly reccommend it

The information contained in this book was very helpful to me and my family. My twin brother has a tramatic brain injury from a motorcycle accident a year ago. The book enlightened us and gave us knowledge on how to deal with the peaks and valleys. She lists 40 things you should know in the back of the book that are invaluable. This is the BEST book I have ever read on the subject
of what it feels like to have a stroke!!!!
Author even told us how to treat stroke survivors-what to do
and what not to do.
