No where near as good as the first book January 8, 2008

I bought the first and second books when I was in NZ, and I thought that the first book was simply the best book I've ever read. However, the second book was not as good, but I thought I'd give the third a try and was sorely dissappointed. It seems that the problem is the original author died and Robert Scott picked it up. Although he claims that this was Jay Gordon's vision, it is evidently clear that Robert possesses neither the class or wit of Mr. Gordon. I was particularly disturbed that each beautiful love scene Mr. Gordon described in the first book, was turned into tawdry nonsense in the 2nd and 3rd books. It's obvious that Robert Scott has never truly loved a woman in his life, in fact I would say he even hates them, and I have my suspicions that he is actually gay.
