For my grand grandson! February 18, 2007
He's 19 months old. And he loves all books, but especially this one. He tries to mimic the expressions. He'll ask everybody to read it and climb up in anyones lap who will. I can see that he identifies with the babies. Such a good idea!

All of my kids love this book. The various ethnicities make it versitile, and it is a great early learning tool for talking about feelings.
My second son learned to communicate anger by mimicing the 'angry baby' face in this book. Much better than just yelling! All the other kids have returned to this book over and over. If someone brings it out, everyone, even the oldest, wants to look at it again.

The baby receiving this gift enjoyed the book. Her mother reports that it is perfect for the 8-month old who is beginning to enjoy with her parents human photographic faces in addition to cartoon drawings.

The baby faces in this book are so adorable and my daughter who loves to look at other babies stares and stares at all the babies and looks at me to imitate the faces for her.
The soft spongey sort of cover is nicer than traditional board book covers which are hard and well, cardboard.
This book kept my daughter entertained even while she was getting her shots! Needless to say she chose the crying face for the ouch moment!
Great Book November 27, 2006
We took this book to China with us when we adopted our daughter. She was only 9 months old and of course knew no Enlgish, but she was fascinated with this book! She would spend all afternoon turning the pages and looking at the pictures. She is now 2 and it is still one of her favorites. I highly recommend this book!
