Like shooting fish in a barrel! May 21, 2008 I don't consider myself a "gifted" reader, but I got through this book in about 7 minutes! I'm not kidding, it was that easy! I don't really understand what was happening with the plot, but it all seemed believeable. Except the part about flying. I don't think that is true. Also, I think that telling kids that "It's the same big world for all of us" is kind of cruel. Obviously some folks get a better chance than others at succeeding, but I'm not bitter. Anyway, I loved the pictures. I would recommend this book for anyone who needs to add another title to their life list.
Excellent! September 26, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Absolutely adorable book. If you are a Jack Russell enthusiast you'll love it.
We love Dudley! October 31, 2003 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My kids love Dudley almost as much as they adore our JRT. Good storyline, easy to follow, and wonderful photography. Really shows off the JRT personality traits (tenacity, speed, athleticism) rarely seen by those who aren't owned by one of the breed- excellent book!
Perfect for JRT fans! July 6, 2003 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book is the perfect showcase of the Jack Russell Terrier's tenacity and spirit. It is one book that many fans buy after borrowing it from me! A cute story for those folks both young and old, who adore Jack Russell Terriers.
Poorly Written Drivel...Worst Children's Book Ever March 25, 2003 0 out of 10 found this review helpful
Let me start this out by saying I love children's books and I read them every single night to my five year old. This book is BY FAR the worst children's book that I have ever read. The writing is both poor and redundant as are the pictures. I would not recommend this book to anyone of any age.
