Don't stick, but can use them anyway August 26, 2007 These labels are so cute, I wish they stuck to things so I could use them more. On most types of paper, these stickers just fall off. They stick to some types of wrapping paper. What I do is stick two of them together or fold one in half and stick it to itself. Then I punch a hole in it and use it as a gift tag. Or slide it in a label slot on a storage box - works well with those cute Ikea boxes. So they aren't completely useless but I would love it if they would remake them with better adhesive.
Labels that don't stick... April 26, 2006 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I just got these today and while the designs are fun, the labels themselves are basically useless. They don't stick well, which sort of defeats the whole point of a label. I don't think I'd want to send one on a letter, because it would probably fall off. If you don't mind taping these down (which looks oh-so-chic), get 'em. Otherwise, pass. I wonder if I can return these???
Simple and elegant May 5, 2005 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I loved these labels by Lotta Jandsotter. Always one for writing letters, I was looking for a way to spruce up my correspondence. Well, these more than fit the bill and now I use them for gifts too (the ones marked "to" and "from" work especially well for this) and basically for labeling all sorts of stuff around the house. So there you go, there's plenty of uses for them, the designs are very simple and elegant in soft scribbles, different shapes and sizes, and muted colors. True, the paper is matte and not as glamorous but it's thick, high-quality stock so it kinda makes up for it. Also, the variety of designs is astounding as she rarely repeats one. Plenty of them to go around too and they come in a cute, reusable box too.
Very stylish, relatively easy to use January 6, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love Jansdotter's style-- very sparse and elegant, Ikeaish. This is a great collection of labels-- all sorts of styles and sizes. The only possible drawback is that they are printed on matte paper, not glossy, as one might be used to for labels. Though the designs are unbeatable, the labels themselves seem like something you could print out yourself. As long as you're OK with that, I recommend these.
