An author who falsifies records for their own personal gain will continue to do so, regardless of the damage they do. Any "respected work" coming from a branch of a poisoned tree cannot be held in high regard, and should not be used or given any credibility. I pity the children who may suffer at the hands of those who use them as guinea pigs to further their careers. A group of authors have an obligation to check the facts before they present any "data" from untrustworthy sources.
