So far this is as advertised. Sturdy for a paperback. It lives in my backpack, and gets thumped up pretty good. The features are what you would expect, and you can't beat the price.

This Bible is a great tool for those who are not really familiar with the Bible. It comes with notes to help you understand better.

I bought this bible was a birthday present for a friend but was dissapointed when I recievd it. The book jacket looked worn down and used with the silver-leaf lettering (the words "NIV" was silver leaf printed)partially fallen off with silver-leaf on many parts of the jacket.
This was due to poor printing on the jacket and or poor shipping that roughed up the book. Amazon did not pack it well.
The bible itself is great! I have the same bible and use the study references all the time when doing self study and preparing bible studies. The notes are very useful and gives explanations to sometimes hard to understand verses.
I would have given it 5 stars if not for the poor jacket and or shipping which resulted in the slightly damaged cover

An awesome a NIV Bible with useful study aids and not a lot of fluff in a compact size. Makes a great gift for teenagers, students or anyone on the road.
