 Encourages a better understanding and love of animals July 28, 2002

We have been getting this magazine for a few years now and our 4 1/2 year old has a much better understanding and appreciation of animals. I can honestly say that these magazines are looked at time and again and she is always excited to see the next one show up in the mail. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this magaine to parents for thier kids. I've learned a few things myself in reading it to her!

My daughter has been receiving this magazine for two years. It is the best child's magazine I have seen for Preschoolers. It has a variety of activities including art, outdoor/indoor, animal-related, mind stimulating (puzzles, etc.), and stories. We read this magazine together when she rides the train with me to work. I keep several in my bag because they are each so full of facts about animals -- both domesticated and wildlife, their habitat, and our world in general. We both learn the answers to common questions about featured animals from kids 3-7. It contains high quality, well written articles for children, excellent photographs, and colorful graphics. I highly recommend it.

My kids can't wait to read this magazine when it arrives. Activities, games and stories. Nice photography of wildlife with writing that appeals to young mind. I highly recommend!

My 4-year-old son has been receiving this magazine for over a year now and we read each issue again and again. He loves the beautiful photos of animals and has learned so many animal facts. The magazine includes photo spreads with facts, games, art projects, mazes, rhebus stories, and a two-page poster each month. I've found Your Big Backyard to be educational and entertaining and consider it a must-have magazine for any child who loves animals and the outdoors!
