no idea February 26, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Says my magazine was shipped/"started" Jan 1st.... here it's almost March and I don't have it yet.... I'll update if I get it, but for now we're disapointed!
Not board book February 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I subscribed to this directly, and was extremely disappointed to find that the issues were not in board book format, as described; and the content had very little educational value at all.
We Love Animal Baby! July 25, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Animal Baby is a wonderful series of little books for infants and toddlers. My son's subscription began when he was one year old and it has been a thrill to watch his interest increase over the months. He is now 20 months old. When we receive a new book, it is a family event for Mommy, Daddy and son to sit down and learn all we can from each page. Animal Baby is great at helping parents teach their young ones, and soon you get used to the flow and learn games you can play with them. Can you find this? Point to the blank. And so on. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in teaching their child about animals and getting them interested in books at a very early age.
Well-enjoyed magazine, poorly constructed July 5, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
My children, ages 3 and 1, both really enjoy this magazine -- of the three magazines I ordered (this, Click and Babybug), this is the only one they each seek out and / or request. My only gripe is that it's poorly constructed: the pages aren't cut evenly. This matters not at all to my children, but each month I notice it and I don't understand why they can't get their machines aligned .... But that's truly picayune because the pictures are terrific, the stories cute, and the educational games fun and appealing (to my 3 year-old, that is).
Not for young babies April 30, 2007 3 out of 14 found this review helpful
It is not boardbook, the layout isn't very interesting, and the images in this book look like cheap stock photos (I am expecting bold illustration for my 3 month old baby) I can easily buy stock photos online and print them out instead of buying this magazine.
