Brilliant story telling, about a gifted man and his closes friends; nature's creation living in a diverse environment of San Francisco with one goal... learning to adapt and survive.
as great as the book! February 26, 2006 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Normally, the book is better than the film. Not here. I read the book, then watched the DVD. Your heart will be tickled by all these feathered encounters. Love and hugs to Mark and Judy. A must see for all bird owners and lovers.
The Wild Parrots Of Telegraph Hill Very Enjoyable February 23, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I saw this film on the big screen and really enjoyed it. I purchased the DVD for my Dad's birthday. My Dad and Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed the DVD. We have had a parrot in the family for 45 years.

It's a Documentary; It's a Love Story - it's all of that - a very nice movie for adults and kids of any age. It's also about some quirky, really nice people and it a little bit of the flavor of San Francisco, with some fine photography and views of the city thrown in.
Great Documentary February 23, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
A movie that both educates and tugs at the heartstrings. The birds are amazing to watch. Certainly on a level with "March of the Penguins". A must-see that you will definitely remember.
