Serene music. February 27, 2008 This is a relaxing CD. The music, much of which is Native American, takes me outside into the wilderness which I love, listening to the sounds of nature. Highlights of the CD include Ly-O-Lay Ale Loya which is high quality electronic Native music, Deer Dance which is a great song by Joanne Shenandoah, The Whole Night Sky by Bruce Cockburn which takes me outside at night looking up at the Milky Way, Mary Youngblood's flute music on Silent Wolf, and Walela's The Whippoorwill.
The only thing I didn't like about the CD was there weren't enough wolves.
Very Enchanting album July 24, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a magnificient cd. It is very ecclectic and relaxing. I use it quite often during my massage sessions for myself and my clients. I've even had people request it because it takes them into such a deep state of relaxation. A great buy!
soothing sounds May 23, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great cd! Listen to it relaxing in a couch/bed as the subtle nuances of the music will be easier to hear. Playing in a noisy vehicle will cause you to miss too much.
captivating January 9, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This soundtrack is purely captivating. The wonderfully orchestrated music, along with the signature drum beats, and peaceful chanting is so soothing; yet seems to speak to your heart at the same time. While listening to this CD I actually feel like I can see a story creating in my mind. A definite must have for any native american music fan!
Fond Memories April 15, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I absolutely love this CD!! I first bought a copy on a trip out West, probably in Arizona or New Mexico, about 6 years ago. It's a long car ride from there back to Alabama. I played this CD over and over, and never got tired of it. It's relaxing and yet exhilirating at the same time. After several moves, my beloved CD was lost. I had to have another copy. I am so happy that I can listen to those pounding drum beats and mystical woodwinds again.
