5 out of 5 stars Beautiful blend for Art and Ear   October 25, 2007

I can't believe I'm the first to comment on this wonderful combination of beautiful Art (as in Wolfe) Photography and Music (by Scott Cossu). If you've read my other reviews, you already know I've been a Scott Cossu fan for years, but my other passion is for great photography, and Art Wolfe's creations are among the best ever produced. So insert this DVD by these two fabulous artists and let your senses soar.

The first time through I experimented by turning down the volume to see only the photographs, and instantly discovered how much Scott's music adds to the experience. Sure, the pictures are great on their own, and looking away, the music is beautiful, too, but together they complement each other to bring the best out of each.

There is no dialog. The pictures were taken from all over the earth during Art's many travels to far and interesting places, and the music is a combination of Scott's old and new compositions. My 42" plasma has never looked better than when this DVD is running.

Most often, when friends and family are visiting, I let this run in the background and before long notice how it captures everyone's interest. This DVD would be a great gift, for yourself, and for anyone on your birthday or holiday list.
