Amazon.com ALL NEW!!!15 minute, 30 minute & 45 minute practices! Namaste, Welcome to Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga ~ Short Forms with Jennifer Wolfe. Continuing in the spirit of her first award winning DVD Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga, Jennifer has made a short forms version of the DVD the New York Times said, "Make you feel good, even with a big belly...my arms and legs got a workout, and I felt stretched, connected and relaxed." This DVD was specifically developed for women who are pregnant and have experience with Ashtanga, Vinyasa, or Power Yoga before pregnancy; but can also be used by those with less experience or practitioners of other forms of yoga if they listen to their bodies, use the 3rd trimester modifications, start with the 15 minute practice and only do poses which feel good. This DVD was created to be challenging while giving women different modifications for each stage of their pregnancy. It focuses on breath and body awareness to safely achieve a vigorous practice. This product is manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply.

Good active workout October 18, 2008 I bought this based on reviews for two reasons: 1) it gives you the option of doing 15, 30, and 45 minute workouts which is very convenient if you don't have a lot of time or if you want to do this after getting in some cardio. most of the other dvds are much longer, and i am more likely to use this one if i am short on time. 2) it was described as being a more vigorous workout than a lot of other prenatal yoga dvds. i think that is accurate, and its a good workout. however, while i was looking for a faster paced workout in my second trimester, now that i am entering third trimester i am actually looking to slow down a bit, so balancing this purchase out with a more calming yoga dvd might be a good idea.
Excellent for moms-to-be experienced w/ yoga September 17, 2008 This is the perfect yoga workout for pregnant women who already have experience with this type of yoga. I can understand how it might be straining for people who are new to yoga but for me, it was a welcome change from the slower paced yoga videos out there. I have the Shiva Rea workout as well and its good for stretching and relaxing but I wanted more of a challenge. I didn't find this one until my 6th month and wish I had it earlier but I had no problem starting in my second trimester.
Great prenatal yoga! September 16, 2008 This DVD provides a convenient way to get an excellent workout at home for women at any stage of pregnancy. The Vinyasa flow gives constant motion so you're sure to break a sweat, and the positions help build the muscles needed for delivering your baby. I really like that there are 3 different length workouts--15, 30 and 45 minutes and that there are modifications based on trimester. Jennifer's got a soothing voice and this yoga DVD is a nice, mentally relaxing treat with the simultaneous benefit of being a challenging workout.
Great DVD! Easy to follow with a great instructor July 25, 2008 This is a terrific DVD and I highly recommend it. Jennifer is a great instructor and easy to follow. It is more challenging than other DVDs I have tried, but that is a very good thing. Other DVDS have pregnant women sitting on a chair for many poses. Jennifer understands that just because you are pregnant doesn't mean you can't move. Her tips for labor poses are really helpful too.
Replaced my yoga practice at a studio during pregnancy July 15, 2008 I'm 7 months pregnant now, and I'm using this DVD to continue practicing my yoga at home. I was familiar with Vinyasa yoga (but not so much), and I think that helped me a lot to practice on my own at home using this. She has 15min, 30min, and 45min practices for you to choose, and clear instructions on alternative moves for those who are on a third trimester.
